Men and Their Football !!



Don't get me wrong...I love my husband, and I don't mind watching football, but I can't do it game after game after game. Am I the only wife who feels this way ?

This conversation took place Monday evening after a FULL weekend of my husband watching football.

Deb: Do we have to watch football tonight ?
Josh: Honey !! It's Monday night football. Patriots & the Bangles !!
Deb: What's your point?
Josh: It's Monday night football... but guess what? We can CUDDLE...

Jimmie was just reminding me the other day how lucky I am that he's not really into sports - no ESPN Sports Center, no Monday night (or any other night) football. I thought I was going to go nuts when I spent 5 days with my boss and a co-worker and all they talked about was sports. Ugh!!! Of course, I probably get as much History Channel and Documentary Channel as you do football!

The other night while he was watching a documentary I plugged my noise cancelling head phones into my laptop and watched the first episode on Heroes online. He felt like we were watching TV together. :)

First, I love your cards! Secondly, I am blessed (somehow) with a man who doesn't really care about sports (I don't know how that happened). I can't relate. But the cuddle part - that's funny! =)

All sports ... all the time in my house ;) At least Josh wasn't online refreshing his Fantasy Football page every 2 minute to check out how he was doing this week! I found a shirt for Steve that says "Girls come and go ... Fantasy Football is forever" But I can't complain - he won the whole shebang in his league last year and brought home $300!!

I feel your pain! Every Saturday, Sunday, Monday and pretty much any night of the week football is on. Plus, Paul has season tickets to UofU. Pretty much on football nights, I go into our room and watch my shows. It gets lonely without my lovey during football season! Can't wait for Spring already.

lucky for me, my guy only enjoys college football... so that lessens the amount we watch by a touch!
