Wonderful Weekend...
We had a great weekend with Lofton and Heidi. Thanks for coming up to see us guys. Josh misses you already.
The weather was horrible the whole weekend. None of us seemed to care too much though. We stayed in the warm house while it rained and snowed a little bit and just watched funny moives, the NFL draft (which was SO boring to me, but everyone else enjoyed it), and we ate some amazing food such as: 5 different types of "hot dogs" like; hot links, jalepeno sausages, apple Gouda sausages, hot italian sausages, and chili sausages, (we grilled all of those, with sauteed peppers and onions) homemade mac & cheese, mozzerella and chicken ravioli with home made pesto sauce (who would ever BUY pesto ? It takes 5 minutes to make and it's easy), and chocolate cream pie from Costco. (I can only do cookies when it comes to baking). It was a quick trip for them, but I think it was a good one. They both came up tired and just wanting to chill out and relax...which is exactly what they did. They both even fell asleep on the couch a couple times. That makes me happy. That means my guests feel at home and are comfy. Noah was the perfect baby the whole weekend. He didn't even cry when Uncle Lofton held him. :) I'm going home to Ohio in July for 11 days so I think Josh and Lofton are going to get together for a boys trip/weekend. Uh oh... I smell trouble :) These two are hilarious when they're together. Constant teasing and laughing.
So happy you came up. It has been too long, so lets not let that happen again. Love you both :)
Great friends and a beautiful couple
Gorgeous Heidi... practicing for her own little one some day. She was a natural with Noah. Get ready Lofty... you're next :)
Look at those lips... don't you just want to kiss and squeeze this little guy?
Love to see my boy happy
I love the way he's looking right at Josh... those two boys love each other
Mommy and Noah in our jammies... it was cold outside
