Apple Turnovers...YUM !!

Kasey...how did your apple pie turn out the other day? My turnovers turned out so good. I was so surprised by my dough. It was so flaky and soft and de-lish !! Josh said these are a must to bake again :)

The pie gets better every time I make it. The crust. is. perfection. Still trying to eliminate the "watery" aspect of the filling. It doesn't quite gel up enough, even when I double the cornstarch.

Have you tried a little flour instead ? I've used both at different times, but the filling usually turns out less runny when I use flour :)

K - I've had better luck wiht flour too, but I am now wondering....what about pectin? Like the kind you use to make jams....Maybe we'll have to look into that.
