Wall of Frames...

Before this project, this wall had only two Ansel Adams prints on it. Now... they have been replaced by some of my favorite memories. I'm still not sure if I like how it turned out. And I'm thinking about taking everything down, patching up the tiny nail holes and starting over. Tell me what you think ? Does it look cluttered ? Do I need to organize the frames in a different way ? Some days I like it and other days I want to change it. Give me feedback :)

It will be interesting to hear what Lindsey thinks. She's great with hanging frames. I think I would stick with one wall. I love the idea you're going for though.

I think it looks great. I love your wall color too. One thing is for sure...if you're anything like me, you'll keep tweeking until you can sleep at night without waking up thinking about the dang wall. That's when you know it's right. :) So, if you're sleeping....it's perfect. ;)
Laur ~ I'm on facebook too and I put this picture up and tons of my friends gave me great tips and ideas, so when my mom comes out in May, we are going to take it down and start over. She likes it like this, but I think I'm going to put the pictures closer together, more of a cluster look, and I might put a little shelf w/ a sign that says "Family" or "Memories" and then put all the frames around that. I'll put pictures of the final look up though :) The paint color is called Tate Olive. I LOVE it :)

I think it looks really cool, but if you are re-doing it here is a cool tip I learned. Cut a piece of paper out in the exact size and shape of each frame, then you can use that sticky yellow poster stuff (not sure what it's called but it won't ruin your paint) and put up all the pieces of paper how you think you want your frames to go. Try it a bunch of different ways with the paper and poster "tape" first, that way you don't have to make a bunch of holes if you don't like it a certain way. Also you get to see how it will all look and can rearrange it as many times as you want. I hope that made sense, I'm not sure I explained it very well.
