Circa 1972...

One of the many places we stayed on our trip to Washington was this historic hotel. This place was a hoot ! The decor spanned many decades, and some of the furniture was even original from the early 1900's when it first opened. One night as I was browsing the bookshelves, I came across all these old Better Homes & Garden's. I found an issue from June of 1972...the month and year I was born. (yes, I'm old). Flipping through the pages, I found this ad for toys. It brought back so many memories from my childhood. I had many of these toys ! I wish I still had them for Noah to play with. Those were the good toys... not all these robots and technical gadgets kids today play with. Good simple fun... takes you back doesn't it? (if you're as old as I am that is).
